The newly strengthened road at Lumlyer, Lower Mawprem was inaugurated recently by the MLA Paul Lyngdoh, in the presence of the local residents and the headmen of Dorbar Shnong Mawprem. The programme included speeches from the MLA, the Dorbar Shnong and the SDO, Shillong Central Division. Built at a cost of Rs.16 lakh, the road would facilitate connectivity in the entire Lumlyer area.
