Guwahati: The Assam State Election Commission on Thursday announced that Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council election will be held on June 12.
As per the schedule, the last date of filing nomination will be on May 19, scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 20.
The last date of withdrawal of candidature is May 22 and publication of the list of contesting candidates will be on May 22.
The election in all the 26 constituencies of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council will be held on June 12 between 8 am to 4 pm and the counting of votes will take place on June 17, the State Election Commission said. (PTI)
