Murder accused arrested

TURA: After being on the run for ten days, wanted criminal and murder accused Tengrak B Marak was finally apprehended by North Garo Hills Police on Tuesday.
Tengrak along with accomplices Sanjit G Momin and With B Marak had attacked two brothers who had come to Narangkol village, near Bajengdoba, to purchase cattle on May 12 evening. They assaulted Amunul Islam and his brother Mostafa Ahmed using lethal weapons resulting in the death of the former.
After being on the run for close to two weeks, Tengrak was finally caught from his wife’s house at Malchapara village of South-West Garo Hills. His two other accomplices were picked up by police from different locations of Garo Hills, earlier.
