2 soldiers killed in attack on Army convoy

Srinagar: Two soldiers were killed and four others injured when militants attacked an Army convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in south Kashmir on Saturday, official sources said here.
The Sources said the militants resorted to indiscriminate firing on an Army convoy at Qazigund on the highway. Security forces and Road Opening Party (ROP) in the area also retaliated ensuing in an encounter.
Six soldiers travelling in the vehicle were injured. The injured were immediately taken to a hospital where one of them succumbed.  (UNI)
