SHILLONG: The office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (c), Sohra Civil Sub-Division recently directed all Sub-Divisional heads of Sohra Civil Sub-Division to use the name Sohra instead of Cherrapunjee for all official correspondence.
In this regard the SDO called for change of name in official signboards, letter heads etc.
The directeive was sent following a memorandum submitted in this regard by the KSU (Sohra Circle).
