SHILLONG: Two HNLC cadres from Lakadong village in East Jaintia Hills surrendered before the East Khasi Hills police on Monday.
The two cadres have been identified as Shibormi Suchen and Da E Miki Shadong.
East Khasi Hills SP Davis Marak said both the surrendered cadres joined the outfit in June 2016 and went to Bangladesh for training.
However, they were used as labourers in the betel nut fields of the leaders of the outfit there. They were disappointed and decided to surrender before the police.
