SHILLONG: CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing has filed an FIR at Mawngap Police Station against one Bunsing Rymbai who has been allegedly raping his two minor nieces, one of them mentally challenged, for the last two years.
In the FIR, Kharshiing alleged that Rymbai of Mawngap, who is the maternal uncle of the girls aged 15 and 12 years, respectively repeatedly raped both of them after the death of their mother. According to FIR, the maternal uncle has been raping the girls in his residence and in a place called Liewlong. CSWO has asked the police to book the accused under POCSO.
