Arrested GNLA workers made contacts with ex-chief

RESUBELPARA: After the recent arrest of GNLA worker Tengsrang A Sangma and another woman collaborator, Supriya Momin, they revealed to the police that the jailed GNLA chairman Champion Sangma are making contacts with other cadres.
The duo who are in police custody also revealed their connections with prominent citizens of Meghalaya.
They revealed to the NGH police during interrogation that they had made telephonic conversation with Champion who is lodged in Shillong jail .
Moreover, a prison inmate in Tura jail also communicated to Champion on social media, they told the police. Police also made an appeal to the people to end cyber crime and use of fake accounts in social media
The citizens of North Garo Hills, and various organizations appealed all fake facebook users to stop their criminal activities. The citizens’ forum also appealed the state and central government to set up cyber cell units in every district.
