Two women labourers injured as wild elephant attacks them

Madikeri, Karnataka, Jun 21 (UNI) Two women workers were seriously injured in a wild elephant attack at Palibetta in Virajpet taluk in this district.
According to forest officials, the victims were working in a Coffee Estate when the elephant attacked them.
The victims have been identified as 45 year-old Nabeesa and 35 year-old Naseema. After first aid was provided at Pallibetta hospital, they were shifted to Gonikoppa hospital.
Forest officials visited the spot and Pallibetta police have registered a case. UNI
