SHILLONG: HSPDP MDC Blandingstar Warjri is missing since June 19 evening and did not attend the Council session that started on Tuesday.
When contacted on Wednesday, HSPDP member K.P Pangniang said, “The HSPDP has filed a missing report. We are searching for him. There are people who have taken advantage of his simple nature and misled him.”
Earlier in the day, Pangniang and another HSPDP member, D. Jyndiang, arrived at the KHADC to search for Warjri.
He told reporters, “He (Warjri) was not there at his residence and we tried to call but there was no response.”
There were allegations that Warjri was ‘kidnapped’ before the beginning of the KHADC session.
Warjri withdrew his support to the People’s
Democratic Forum on Monday and late in the night wrote to P.N Syiem expressing his support to the ruling PDF.
When pointed out, Pangniang said he was unaware of any link between his support to the Executive Committee and his disappearance.
