TURA: Damalgre United beat Jenggitchakgre 5-2 in the quarter final of the MP Cup Tournament in Tura on Thursday.
Damalgre took the lead when Janwar Marak netted one in the 16th minute. Damalgre made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Jenggitchakgre came back strong in the second half with a goal from Chingman Sangma in the 50th minute. Damalgre hit back three minutes later to make it 3-1.
Jenggitchakgre kept its hopes alive with a goal in the 61st minute. However from there on it was Damalgre’s match as the team won 5-2.
