UDP, GNC seal pre-poll alliance deal

SHILLONG: The United Democratic party (UDP) and the Garo National Council (GNC) on Friday entered into a pre-poll alliance.
In a meeting held in Tura, the presidents of both the parties Donkupar Roy and K.D Sangma announced the pre-poll alliance to be effective in the Garo Hills region.
UDP leaders B.M Lanong and Allantry F Dkhar, GNC MDCs Augustine Marak and Wenison Marak, were among others who attended the meeting. (Photo on P-10)
