SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) on Monday slammed the PHE department for supplying unclean water.
Citing the report of State Development Reforms Commission (SDRC), KHNAM criticised the PHE for not taking the issue of supplying potable water to the households seriously.
The party had also sent letter along with the RTI report relating to the supply of contaminated water to the Chief Minister, health and PHE ministers but the matter was not given any importance, KHNAM said.
