Rice and Sugar Released
The DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills, Shillong has informed the public consumers of the District that Rice under NFSA 2013, for Priority House Holds and Antyodaya Anna Yojana for the month of June, quota in Urban and Rural, Rice under Non NFSA for month of June, quota in Urban and Rural and ISS Grade Sugar 30 under TPDS for the month of January and February, quota have been released and will be distributed through the respective Fair Price Shops.
Awareness Programme
The DC, West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin has informed that Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a welfare programme of Government of India under which free LPG connection to women from poor will be issued. A sensitisation cum awareness programme will be held for all the Headmen within Nongstoin Block as well as for general public will be conducted on July 6 at 1 pm in Trysem Hall, DC’s Office.
