Free medicine for malaria patients at EGH health camp

SHILLONG: Dobu PHC East Garo Hills in collaboration with CII YI and supported by AMATSARA organised a health camp.
Nearly 200 inmates registered for screening of malaria and other vector borne disease.
Cabinet Minister D.C. Marak attended the event as chief guest.
The programme had two awareness skits for public along with a power-point presentation on malaria and its prevention on the occasion of Anti Malaria Month. Free screening and medicines were distributed to the diagnosed patients.
Szarita Laitphlang, Co chair YI Meghalaya and Chair Health Vertical was present to oversee the function and spoke on the prevention of malaria. B.R. Marak, DMO and R.N. Marak M&HO were also present for the screening camp and calculated the entire programme.
