Awareness programme
National Health Mission (NHM) in collaboration with Superhits Red FM 93.5, Shillong organized a road show to create awareness on drug abuse and illicit-trafficking. The road show titled, “Listen first,” started from Mawlai Petrol Pump. The road show aimed to sensitise people on drug abuse in and around Mawiong and it culminated at Nongmynsong.
Lok adalat
The District and Sessions Judge/ District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ri Bhoi, Nongpoh will organize a National Lok Adalat on all types of cases from 10am onwards July 8. Meanwhile, the District & Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, West Garo Hills, Tura has informed that a National Lok Adalat on all subjects matters will be held on July 8 on the premises of District & Sessions Court, Tura.
Performance lauded
The Lyngdoh Mawlong clan in its executive meeting held recently lauded the achievements of Synvania Lyngdoh Mawlong for winning the ‘Best Actor Northeast female’ in the Prag Cine Awards Northeast 2017 for her role in Dak Bangla. The clan also congratulated Ryan Jordan Lyngdoh Mawlong for securing 4th position in the HSSLC Science stream.
