AIFF welcomes Coal India to be national supporter for Fifa World Cup under -17 in India

New Delhi, Jul 7 (UNI) FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC)
have welcomed the world’s single largest coal producing company –
Coal India Limited (CIL) as the national supporter for FIFA U-17
World Cup to be held in India between October 6-28 in 2017.
President of All India Football Federation and chairman of the Local
Organising Committee Praful Patel said: “We are delighted at the
partnership with Coal India for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.
Coal India has been a strong supporter of Indian sport, and their
presence will definitely help in taking the message of football to
every corner of our country.”
Coal India Limited joins Bank of Baroda and Hero MotoCorp and becomes
the third National Supporter of the tournament.
With less than four months to go to the event, there are now only
three spots available for local affiliates to come on board and pledge
their support for the first FIFA tournament in the country.
