FAM to promote Futsal for the benefit of the state’s youth

SHILLONG: Futsal Association of Meghalaya (FAM) is formed on April 19, 2017 with an objective to educate the youth of Meghalaya about the importance of Futsal which a small sided life football game that is widely played across the world, through district and state tournaments so that they have a better understanding of the game.

The association will try to produce players in futsal and in football.

FAM will act as liaison with government and other sport associations/clubs/individuals/ companies for promotion and support in promoting Futsal for the benefit of the youth  of the state.

FAM will be affiliated to the Futsal Association of India (FAI) and it will also approach the government and other stakeholders for support in organizing different tournaments and to participate in different tournaments organized at different level.

The members of FAM are A. Bhagotia as adviser, Brighstar Langbang as president.
