Ex-MDC to contest from Mowkaiaw

JOWAI: Former JHADC MDC and president of the Jaintia Hills District Congress Committee (JHDCC), Gilbert Sten, a resident of Sahsniang village, has decided to contest the 2018 polls from Mowkaiaw constituency.
The decision was taken at the general meeting represented by the elders and his supporters from more than 52 villages under Mowkaiaw constituency on Tuesday.
Supporters asked him to leave the Congress Party to which he agreed.
