SHILLONG: Several police personnel were awarded an the Investiture Ceremony function of Meghalaya Police, which was held at Police Headquarters, Meghalaya, Shillong on Sunday at 11.30 am.
The personnel were granted Indian Police Medal, Gallantry Medal and Fire Service Medal.
Chief Minister Dr. Mukul M. Sangma was the chief guest in the function. Others attended the function were H.D.R. Lyngdoh, Y. Tsering, IAS, Chief Secretary of Meghalaya, M. S. Rao IAS Principal Secretary (Home), Director General of Police, senior officers and others, beside the family members of the medal recipients.
