SHILLONG: One, Summit Bareh (20), son of Yoowen Lyngdoh, an executive engineer of PWD committed suicide at his residence in PWD Quarters in Barik at around 7pm on Tuesday.
According to the police source, Bareh, a 2nd year B Com student hanged himself using a wire in his garage late on Tuesday evening and his body was found by his cousin, Ebormi Bareh who immediately rushed him to Civil Hospital. There was no one in the house when the incident took place, the source added. The reason behind Bareh’s action is still not known.
