Demonstration

SHILLONG: A joint meeting of the UFBU, Meghalaya State was held at Canara Bank on July 14 wherein it was decided that a protest will be held on July 19 against the steps of the government to privatise and merge banks. Among other agitational programmes, a “Centralised Joint Demonstration will be held in front of SBI, Shillong main branch at 5.30pm on July 19.
