SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Wednesday remained discreet while answering to queries about his double-seat contest in the 2018 elections.
When reporters asked whether he would contest from two constituencies in Garo Hills, Sangma smiled and said, “Some election strategies are supposed to be secret and I will not divulge everything.”
Media reports had said that besides his own constituency Ampati, the chief minister was keen to contest from Songsak in East Garo Hills, which is currently represented by Nihim D Shira of NPP.
