Woman’s body recovered
On July 28, one unidentified woman (50) was found lying unconscious in a waiting shed near St. Thomas School at Cherengapara, South Garo Hills. She was shifted to PHC Barengapara where the attending MO declared her brought dead.
Mobiles stolen
Ronit Jaiswal of Beltola Patharkuchi, Guwahati, Assam lodged a complaint that on July 28 at around 1.30 am, four unidentified persons broke into his shop at Them Marwet, Khanapara,Ri-Bhoi and stole mobile phone accessories valued around Rs. 1,50,000.
Two injured in accident
On July 28 at around 7 pm, one Maruti Alto K-10 car (ML-10B-4251) collided head on with one truck (AS-25-AC-1257) at Umiam Bypass Road,Ri Bhoi. As a result, two occupants of the car sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
