SHILLONG: The entire mandal of the BJP in Dalu constituency along with more than 2000 members joined the NCP in presence of Saleng A. Sangma, MLA and Torang R. Marak, president of Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC), Garo Hills, on July 25.
The president of the mandal, Utpal Marak, and 26 other officials such as vice-president, treasurer, advisor, secretary along with more than 2000 members have officially joined the NCP.
In another boost to the NCP, the BJP Mahila Morcha of the constituency also joined the NCP.
President Shasiti Sarkar and other women leaders and more than 1000 members joined the NCP on July 26. The NCP Meghalaya State is in regular contact with people of other constituencies and will be forming its Unit in every constituency within November, an NCP statement said.
