Members of the forum met the minister on Thursday. In a petition to Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, MPDF along with the Dorbar Shnong of Kynrud area, Nongsohma Kynrud, Mawiong Jadap, Nongkrem, Nonglang urged the State Government to hand over the project to NEEPCO.
According to the MPDF, handing the project to NEEPCO will expedite the work, which will benefit the State as a whole.
