Dry Day declared on August 15

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioners of West Khasi Hills District, West Jaintia Hills District and Ri Bhoi District has declared 15^th August, 2017 as Dry Day on account of Independence Day.

All liquor shops/bonded warehouses, IMFL shops, bars, hotels, breweries, canteen, clubs and Outstill shops shall remain closed on the above mentioned date, a government communique says.
