SHILLONG: The BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest on Saturday at parking lot near Additional Secretariat building in protest against crime against women and children.
The Mahila Morcha state committee criticised the government for its failure to protect women and children from rape and other atrocities. Various crimes committed against children especially rape in several parts of Meghalaya is increasing day after day.
Hundreds of women s participated in the protest.
