SHILLONG: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised by the NSS, Social works committee, Red Ribbon Club and NCC, Shillong Commerce College on Saturday. The programme began at 9 am, with an awareness talk on benefits of Voluntary Blood Donation to the donor and the society.
The resource person for the talk was Dr R. Allya, In-Charge Regional Blood Bank, Pasteur Institute.
The principal of the College J.B. Massar highlighted the need for such blood donation camp. For the Blood donation Camp, 60 students registered for the donation out of which 21 could donate blood.
