JOWAI: Two more complaints have been lodged against arrested BJP member Smen Kyndait.
Smen was arrested a week back for duping one of his relatives, Ioanis Kyndait, a coal businessman, of around Rs 58 lakh.
Another person, Augustine Kyndait of Moolamanoh, has lodged an FIR at Ladrymbai outpost that Smen owes him Rs 58 lakh.
On Tuesday, police received another complaint from JHADC MDC Madonbai Rymbai. According to Rymbai, in 2012, Smen had loaded coal worth Rs 20 lakh from his depot but never paid.
Smen had told Rymbai that he would pay once he got money from his business partner in Assam.
Sources said Smen has cheated many people in the district and more have threatened to lodge complaints.
