Roadshow to promote education and skill development

SHILLONG: The Government of  Meghalaya with the support of Aide et Action in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong and Seng Samla (Youth Group), Nongkseh will be organizing a Roadshow, a mass mobilization programme themed, ‘Choose your future, Choose to work’ at Nongkseh, Mylliem, East Khasi Hills District on the 26th August at 2:30 pm under the Project Supporting Human Capital Development in Meghalaya (SHCDM) aided by Asian Development Bank to create awareness on the importance of education and provide relevant information on the various skill training opportunities which will provide scope to develop talents and sustainable livelihood. It also aims to offer youth the opportunities to enroll themselves for the free training programmes of Meghalaya State Skills Development Society (MSSDS) and Labour Department (ITIs)

The event will feature freestyle performances, BMX stunts, dances, music, games, prizes, etc by XSports. The Government of Meghalaya through the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) urged the youth, parents and the community leaders of Nongkseh and its adjoining villages to take this opportunity and be part of the event.
