NEEPCO observes Hindi Pakhwada

SHILLONG: The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation observed ‘Hindi Pakhwada’ at its corporate Headquarters, in Shillong on Friday.
V.K. Singh, Director (Technical) inaugurated the event in the presence of senior officials including M.S. Jyrwa, Executive Director (O&M) and Rajat Sarma Executive Director (R&E).
B.K. Tigga, Sr. Manager (HR), other dignitaries along with all the officials were present in the programme and it was conducted by Maisnam Ingaleima, Personnel Officer.
Singh while highlighting the importance of Hindi in day to day life, advised the employees to communicate in a simple manner so that the message can be easily understood. “Language makes us closer to each other and one should be willing to learn more languages,” he said. Diganta Bora, Sr. Manager (HR) said that most people use Hindi to express their views but find it difficult to write in Hindi.
Bora said that the different Hindi competitions which will be organised during the Pakhwada will certainly employees the chance to rectify problems concerning the language.
