SHILLONG: Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh has come down heavily on those who have criticized his functioning.
“I am surprised there are others who do not work yet criticize others who do,” Lyngdoh said at a meeting in the basketball ground of Them Rangshken Secondary School on Saturday.
The minister said his desire to upgrade the Sohiong C&RD Block to a civil subdivision has been fulfilled. He hoped that the potential of the educated youth was tapped in the government administration with the functioning of the civil sub-division.
“I have nothing to say on the media reports that point to the UDP-HSPDP desire to defeat me from Sohiong constituency,” he added.
