SHILLONG: The first open futsal tournament will be organised in Shillong by Futsal Association of Meghalaya from September 28-30. The event will be held at Indoor Stadium, JN Complex.
The president of the Association, Dr Brightstar Langbang informed that the objective of the event is not only to produce futsal players but even footballers.
In addition, the Association will also form units at different districts to reach to the grassroots level. The event would also have cash prize, medals and certificates.
