SHILLONG: More than 20 Congress ticket aspirants have collected application forms since August 31 when the party started distributing forms.
Sources in the party said new faces, sitting legislators and ministers were among those who have already collected forms.
The last date of distribution is September 15.
Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee president DD Lapang is camping in Delhi and meeting AICC leaders.
The Congress has dissolved seven block committees – Mawkyrwat, Nartiang, Umroi, Mairang, Mawkynrew, Mawryngkneng with the latest being Pynursla.
