Renewal of licenses
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Garo Hills has directed all fair price shops and S.K. Oil Dealers of the district to submit the applications for renewal of licenses latest by October 31 or before stating that their current licenses expires on December 31 of this year. The details are available in the office of the DC (Supply).

Quiz competition
The Department of Botany, Lady Keane College organised an Inter-college Quiz Competition on September 8 in the college auditorium. The competition saw the participation of a number of colleges from Shillong and Jowai in which St Anthony’s College took home the winner’s trophy followed by Sankar Dev College and Kiang Nangbah Govt. College in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Debate competition
Women’s College will organise the 13th F.I. Hussain Memorial Inter-college Debate Competition in the college auditorium on September 9 at 1:00 pm. Professor B. Panda Head, Department of Economics NEHU, Shillong will be the speaker in the programme.
