Chennai, Sep 15 (UNI) In the backdrop of fiery series in February and March in Australia, Indian Vice-captain Rohit Sharma today said both the teams were aggressive in nature, but as professional cricketers one should not cross the limits.
Asked about the fiery series and a seemingly subdued Aussie Skipper Steve Smith said the series should be played in true spirit and how he saw it, Rohit told the media here that ”we have to see once the tournament starts.”
”We have to play in the spirit of the game. Both teams are aggressive in nature. Spirit of the game always needs to be there and there needs to be a line which needs to be drawn”, he said.
”We all know as professional cricketers we shouldn’t cross limits”, Rohit said, adding, a lot of these guys play enough cricket to understand that.
”But we all want to play aggressive cricket and come at each other very hard”, he said.
Having said that, there will be parameter which should not be crossed”. UNI
