 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions and Associations (MJCTUA) in its meeting held on Monday expressed concern over the non-settlement of various demands, that is, payment of salary for the last 4 months, payment of arrears revised pay under 4th pay commission (Meghalaya) etc. of the employees and workers of Meghalaya Transport Corporation.

The meeting unanimously adopted a resolution extending its support ato the agitating / striking employees and workers of MTC and urged upon the governmnet and MTC authorities to settle their genudemands immediately. It also demanded intervention of the transport minister.
