Ten coal laden trucks detained

SHILLONG: Coal laden trucks continue to be detected from different parts of the state.
On September 23, six coal laden trucks (ML-04A-4557, ML-04B-8489, ML-04A-5532, ML-04A-6977, ML-05Q-0445 and ML-04A-5389) were detained at Mukhla village in East Jaintia Hills. Police seized all the trucks while the drivers managed to escape.
On the same day, four coal laden truck ML-04B-6371, ML-04A-9635, AS-01DC-3345 and ML-04-8306) were seized at Narang, Lailad Road in Ri Bhoi under Byrnihat OP.
However, the police could not get hold of the drivers and the handymen.
