SHILLONG: The parents and guardians of ten MBBS candidates of Meghalaya thanked the state government especially Health Minister Roshan Warjiri and Additional Chief Secretary P.W. Ingty for helping the students in getting back the medical seats even by approaching the Supreme Court.
Earlier, the ten medical students of Meghalaya were denied admission in medical colleges of Assam.
“We, at the same time, also extend our gratitude to K.C. Boro, former MLA, who was concerned over the matter and was all along with us during the days. He was the one who raised the issue before the health minister and additional chief secretary and requested them to bail out the students”, the parents said.
