MAWKYRWAT: Draft electoral rolls for Ranikor and Mawkyrwat constituencies have been published, said the electoral registration officer here on Wednesday.
The official informed that copies of the voters’ lists and CDs were handed over to political parties during a meeting on Wednesday at his office in Laitlawsang, South West Khasi Hills.
He said the qualifying date for preparation of electoral rolls is January 1, 2018, and any objection or claim for inclusion of names should be made on or before October 31.
For Mairang and Mawthadraishan too, the electoral rolls have been prepared.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills informed that the draft photo electoral rolls for Phulbari, Rajabala, Selsella, North Tura, South Tura, Rangsakona, Gambegre and Dalu constituencies have been published.
