Gal Gadot nervous about hosting ‘SNL’

Los Angeles, Oct 4 (PTI) Actor Gal Gadot has said she is a little nervous about her debut as the “Saturday Night Live” host. The 32-year-old actor will host the second episode of season 43 of the NBC late-night sketch series. “It’s (SNL) gonna be crazy. I love this show… That’s my fear — to speak like a dummy,” Gadot told INSIDER. The “Wonder Woman” star joked she is practising her monologue repeatedly as her Israeli accent makes it difficult for her to pronounce the name of the show correctly. “I’m thinking about the monologue and I’m like, ‘Ahh.’ Say ‘Saturday Night Live’. But I am excited. Improv, yeah I did, but never in America on Saturday night. I can barely say ‘Saturday Night Live’,” she said. Oscar-winner Sam Smith will be the musical guest on the episode. “The Big Sick” star Kumail Nanjiani and Pink will host the next episode of the comedy show. PTI
