General meeting
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association Ri Bhoi District Unit, will hold its general meeting on October 7 at Umkynsier UP school Jirang. A block unit to strengthen the organisation in the district will be formed. The association asked all the teachers falling under the banner of MUPSTA Jirang Block to attend the meeting so that their aims and objectives can be fulfilled for the benefit of the teachers.
Hindi Divas
The office of Chief Postmaster General North East circle observed Hindi Divas and Hindi Fortnight from September 14 to 28. TR Diwan, Asstt. Director (Welfare) graced both events on September 14 as well as on the concluding ceremony held on September 28. Various competitions were organised during the Hindi Fortnight and the prizes were distributed by the chief postmaster general, I Pangernungsang.
