SHILLONG: Mizoram XI would take on Meghalaya Police Football Team (MLFT) during the inaugural match of the 22nd All India Meghalaya Invitation Cup on Monday.
Besides, Langsning SC, Ar-Hima and Royal Wahingdoh FC, the other teams who are taking part in the tournament are SSB (Siliguri), Green Valley (Assam), Punjab Police, Nigeria XI, Tata Football Academy (TFA), Ganga SC and Yeti Airlines Himalayan Sherpa Club from Nepal.
The winner of the tournament would be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh while the runner up team will get a cash prize of Rs 75,000.
