SHILLONG: State Home (Police) Minister HDR Lyngdoh has been selected for the International Achievers Award which will be conferred on him at an international conference in Dubai on October 27.
In a letter to Lyngdoh, the Friendship Forum of India (FFI) said that it was holding a high-level conference to celebrate Global Friendship Day on October 27 in Dubai which will focus on historical importance of relations, economic collaboration, international peace and solidarity.
The letter stated that the award was conferred on selected personalities as a mark of honour and recognition for playing a distinguished role in the development of the country.
