SHILLONG: The Chief Engineer Shillong Zone under the aegis of HQ 101 Area will organise a seminar on Power Conservation Techniques: A Road Map to Green Environment on October 27, 2017 at the State Convention Centre, (Pinewood Hotel Annex) in the city, according to a government communique.
The focus of the seminar will be on alternate sources of renewable energy and energy saving techniques through reduction in consumption /demand and use of innovative materials, design and techniques in projects. The seminar, being a technical event, will provide a knowledge sharing platform for engineers, academicians, consultants and the industry, which will be useful towards energy conservation efforts of the country.
The key focus area will be Enhanced Production of Energy Using Renewable Sources of Energy, Reduced Consumption and Energy Conservation Measures
