TURA: The Garo National Council (GNC) has released the first list of its candidates for the 2018 Assembly elections.
The party’s president, Kalpana D Sangma, will contest from Chokpot, GHADC members Augustine R Marak and Jinberth R Marak (Goera) will contest from Siju-Rongara and Gambegre constituencies, respectively, GHSMC chairman Nikman Ch Marak from Baghmara and Mafiara T Sangma from Mahendraganj.
