Prohibition
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Pravin Bakshi has informed that the authority has prohibited stray cattle in and around 8 kilometre radius of Tura under Municipality jurisdiction and at other major locations like Selsella, Rongram, Jengjal, Baljek and Dalu from November 2017 to April 2018 with immediate effect till further notice.

SP welcomed
Synjuk Waheh Shnong ka Ri Jaintia welcomed Vivek Syiem, MPS, as the Superintendent of Police in West Jaintia Hills.
