Indigenous games to feature in 100 drums Wangala Festival

TURA: Indigenous games and Tug-of-War competitions will be a part of this year’s Hundred Drums Wangala Festival which will kick off on November 8 at Asanang near Tura.

The games scheduled to be held on the first day of the festival will include Jakpong Pe’a, An’ding Oka, Wa’pong Sika, Rong’ma Chilsusaa for men and Rong’ma Chilsusaa and Rong’ma Gosusaa for women.

The festival’s organising committee has informed that there will be no entry fee and interested individuals and teams have been directed to register their names at the venue on the said date and time accordingly.
