Assault/threat
On November 11 around 12.30 pm, one Balbinder Singh assaulted and threatened Paronijeet Kaur at Punjabi Lane, Iewduh, Shillong.
On November 11 around 11.30 pm, one unidentified person assaulted Satyajit Das at Lapalang, Shillong.
On November 6 around 9 pm, two persons Lovely Suchen and Jony Suchen, threatened the VDP members of Huroi village with dire consequences.
Theft
On November 11 around 8 pm, unknown miscreants stole one Scooty (ML-05E-6280) belonging to Rocky Syiemlieh from Madanrting, Block-G, Shillong.
Ivy N S Watre lodged a complaint that between October 14 and November 3, unknown miscreants broke into her residence at Kench’s Trace, Oxford Hills, Shillong and stole one TV set valued around Rs. 15,000.
Missing
A complaint was lodged that on November 5 around 9 am, Jenchi Ch Marak (17) left her residence at Golmanggre village (SWGH) for Garobadha and did not return home.
Safiul Islam lodged a complaint that on November 3 around 7 pm, his driver Firoz Ali, parked his Bolero pick-up (ML-05N-5149) at Askikandi village (WGH). However, on November 4, the vehicle was found missing and the driver is not receiving his phone call.
Shailendra Kumar Thakur, Manager IR L & T Construction Building, NEIGRIHMS Project, Shillong lodged a complaint that one employee of the company Anand Bahadur Chettri, absconded from the site since September 30 after taking advance from the company and also failed to pay credits taken from the grocery shops.
Accident
On November 12 around 4 pm, one Wagon R (ML-05K-4690) driven by Lupheng Mangneithng Kom (29) dashed against one scooty (ML-5Q-1848) ridden by Rahul Rai at Demthring, Shillong. As a result, the scooty rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were removed to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, whereas Lupheng Mangneithng Kom was referred to a hospital in Guwahati, Assam.
On November 12 around 6 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05H-9518) ridden by Pyntngenlang Syngkli knocked down one pedestrian Wanlambok Mynsong (28) at Khapmara under Umroi in Ri Bhoi . Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Bhoirymbong CHC for treatment.
One drowned
On November 11 around 10.30 am, one Janki Lamari alias Khria (34) was suspected to have drowned in Myntang River (WJH). Necessary formalities have been observed.
